[CDC] Useless but fun [CLOSED]

Design a card that is “useless” or non-advantageous yet very cool to play during a match.

We all know how useless Puffy the goldfish is! Yet I love using him, torturing him with new card combos and experiments, but most of all, taking my sweet sweet time beating him. Maybe that’s just me.
Regardless, that lovable fish gave me the idea for this next challenge.

Non-advantageous in this case means to not give a player advantage over another.
The card can be any card type or purity. Free range!
The card should not be annoying in that it would make players have a bad experience or ruin a match. That said, the card can have good or bad affects (advantageous or inconvenient for both players) as long as it doesn’t unjustifiably disrupt a match.

If a player during a match finds a way to make use of the “useless” or non-advantageous card, kudos to them, but the card should be designed not to give a player advantage over another as previously stated.

I am curious to see how useless, funny, cool, tragic or even bizarre you can make your card.

--- Card Design Challenge Rules ---
1) The Judge appoints a challenge, it can be anything, making new card, redesigning an old one or whatever you wish.
2) All that wish to participate submit their card design. Each participant may only submit one entry per challenge, you may however edit your post as many times as you wish till the deadline.
3) After an announced deadline the Judge decides a winner. The winner then becomes the Judge for the next round, if the winner does not wish to host the next round a runner-up may do so instead.
4) All entries submitted before the deadline are guaranteed feedback, either in this thread or in another detailed feedback thread.

Exhaust: Select a faction and a premium type (options include default and random), all cards you control (in play or not) gain the selected factions border, become the selected premium type and have their art displayed upside-down until the end of the game.

"Dude, look how many holographics I've got!"



Aside from messing around with the purely cosmetic qualities of the cards for puffies and giggles it would also let people see how it would look to have a full premium deck.

Communications Blackout

Mission

When you deploy Communications Blackout, move all deployed cards to the support zone. Turn all cards in play face down, then randomly rearrange their positions. Cards deployed while this is in play are turned face down. No player may look at face down cards. Deployed cards remain face down as long as this mission is in play.

Mission: Anyone deploys a card.

Completion 10

Face down cards retain original stats and abilities unless indicated otherwise. They will still fight you just wont know their power and health or abilities unless you look at them (which this card doesnt allow).

Keywords still happen, a character with charge will still deploy in the assault zone, but now the opponent doesnt know what it is... and if you get mixed up you might forget what it is. basically the turn just resolves as normal except you cant tell what's fighting what.

This cards resource cost is lowered by nothing because then it wouldnt have the best numbers.

Instead of paying this cards resource cost you may instead sacrifice 3 ultra units.

Consume 100, Flying, Reach, Untouchable, Shield 10, multistrike 15, Indestructible, Infect

Cannot be removed from the game.

Additional rules text is added to this card each time a new card is printed to ensure that this card has the most rules text out of any card in existence.

The rules text added is as follows: "this card is still the best". This phrase will be repeated until this card has the most rules text out of any card.

(a card with infinite attack will always kill anything it does damage to including the fortress [assuming the card receiving the damage can die to combat damage])

This card will add flavor text each time a card comes out just like the rules text rule.

The above mentioned flavor text will not actually happen because it is flavor text and not rules text and also because it would probably cause way too many bugs.

Possibly playable but unlikely so.

Discard and then resurrect from the grave for a op card. But you can add to the card text to prevent that and make the rules text even more bloated.

All targeted effects have no target restrictions and hit a random target. Whenever someone deploys a character, that character will be transformed into a random character with the same cost.

Every ability in every graveyard is played this turn and then removed from the game.

So...you indefinetly skip drawing that one unfortunate top card? :) Also, where does you that Soldier of Fortune go? To the hand or to the support zone?

Would that mean if I played Yuanshi's Wrath for example all the damage would be sent to a single random deployed character?
Would all of mass deaths kill effect target a single random character?    Would it just kill everything in play?     Would it count the number of cards on the battlefield and randomly choose that many cards to kill?

Unless its specifically just cards that say 'target' but then there's still effects that only apply to specific type of card, could laser cannon try to damage a location?  could vandalize kill a character?

It needs to have you target (or choose) something in play. So AoE or other global effects would not be affected.

 Yes to the rest. Laser cannon could try to damage a location (wouldn't do much though) or even a player (might do much) and vandalize could kill a character if you are lucky. or unlucky. depends i guess. and death ray could kill a location.

Updated the card to say that the Soldier goes to the hand. And yes you will infinitely skip the first card and you could imagine the first card being Cavalry Paladin still trying to find his motorcycle. :)

Mission starts at 50% completion.
At the start of every turn one random Character you control has a 50% chance to get -4/-4 and this card becomes 17% less complete, and a 50% chance to gain +4/+4 and this card becomes 17% more complete.
If Hell's Roulette reaches 100% completion, all Characters you control gain +4/+4, if Hell's Roulette reaches 0% completion, all Characters you control get -4/-4.
