Make a mission card for Sleepers of Avarrach.

--- Card Design Challenge Rules ---
1) The Judge appoints a challenge, it can be anything, making new card, redesigning an old one or whatever you wish.
2) All that wish to participate submit their card design. Each participant may only submit one entry per challenge, you may however edit your post as many times as you wish till the deadline.
3) After an announced deadline the Judge decides a winner. The winner then becomes the Judge for the next round, if the winner does not wish to host the next round a runner-up may do so instead.
4) All entries submitted before the deadline are guaranteed feedback, either in this thread or in another detailed feedback thread.

PRIZES
1st place: 3 alt art packs and 3 collection penta packs
2nd place: 2 alt art packs and 2 collection penta packs
3rd place: 1 alt art pack and 1 collection penta pack
All participants who submit an entry will receive a collection penta pack

Virus Dispersal

Unique Mission
Cost: 2

At the end of the turn if there are 9 or more Undead Characters in your Support Zone which were in the Support Zone at the start of the turn, Virus Dispersal becomes complete.
When Virus Dispersal is completed it sacrifices all Undead Characters in your Support Zone, applies Poison 2 to all non-Undead Characters, and all non-Undead Characters on the Battlefield become Undead and are raised to your Support Zone when they die.

"Why are they just piling up like that?"   *BOOM*



Basically just make a pile of undead bodies and blow them to bits to spread the virus all over.

They have to be in support at the start of the turn, so it won't be triggered by units that were just spawned in or raised from the graveyard.

Poisons command zone, turns non-undead characters you own on the battlefield into undead and gives them an extra life, and can steal a bunch of units from the opponent, but requires you to hold back and sacrifice a decent number of units, making you more vulnerable to attack, plus the opponent can hit you with support zone death/damage or forced movement and prevent it from working, basically wasting your turn.

You could end up just sacrificing one though, but it kinda works like Warmachine.

Can the mission be hybrid (either or 2+ factions) or multifaction (require 2+ factions)?

All purities allowed as long as your card requires at least 1 SoA commander.

Oh. I was thinking 9 one turn 1 next turn.

It doesnt say gain completion, but missions tend to retain completion percent. Kinda weird but i get it now.

I think it could use different description - instead of that misleading '10% for each Undead Character' say instead - it resolves only when you have have at least 10 Undead Character in your Support Zone.

Mission: Each time a card you control enters your graveyard.

Completion, 13: Create a 2/2 Endless Horde in your Assault Zone for each Sleepers purity symbol in all deployed cards you control. At the end of the turn, Remove all Endless Hordes generated by this card that are still deployed.

I dont feel like dividing 100 by 13 and dont see the need to.

Ive decided "Remove from the game" needs a keyword and Ive decided its just easier to call it Remove

For each opponents character that goes from the battlefield to the graveyard due to combat, gain 20%. For each character that you control that goes from the battlefield to the graveyard due to combat, lose 20%. When this card reaches 100%, all characters in your opponents graveyard is ressurected to your assault zone.

Hostile Skies

Type: Unique Mission
Rarity: Uncommon

Whenever a character with flying is deployed or a character gains flying, Hostile Skies becomes 17% more complete.

Once it reaches 100%, sacrifice this mission and all characters in play lose flying.

Exhaust: Target character loses flying until the end of turn. Hostile Skies loses 30% completion.

Ever wondered why there are no birds on Avarrach?

A character becomes Exhausted next turn when taking poison damage.


The card only Exhausts a character and does not put it into the support zone. The character that is taking poison damage gets stuck in the zone it is in and can only be moved by other card effects.

I see now when taking a look at all the mission cards that they all need to build up to 100% completion. And if the card needs to be one time effect for this challenge then just ignore my card submission.
