[CDC] Epic Balance [Closed]

Redesign epic rarity card you find bad and could use buff.

It may be complete rework, adding new effect next to existing one or making old effect more fancy,
just don't change only cost, power and health.


--- Card Design Challenge Rules ---
1) The Judge appoints a challenge, it can be anything, making new card, redesigning an old one or whatever you wish.
2) All that wish to participate submit their card design. Each participant may only submit one entry per challenge, you may however edit your post as many times as you wish till the deadline.
3) After an announced deadline the Judge decides a winner. The winner then becomes the Judge for the next round, if the winner does not wish to host the next round a runner-up may do so instead.
4) All entries submitted before the deadline are guaranteed feedback, either in this thread or in another detailed feedback thread.

PRIZES
1st place: 3 alt art packs and 3 collection penta packs
2nd place: 2 alt art packs and 2 collection penta packs
3rd place: 1 alt art pack and 1 collection penta pack
All participants who submit an entry will receive a collection penta pack

When you deploy Vis, the Furious, you may Overcharge it any number of times. Vis the Furious gains Multi Strike x where x is the number of times it was overcharged.
Each time Vis, the Furious enters combat she consumes one strike from multi strike then sends the defender to the support zone.
Flavor Text: From the smallest embers grow mighty infernos.

The idea is to give FD its own Karckk. it isn't broken because it takes many turns to fill your hand with fd and can't kill someone from full health. it easily countered by well timed Mass death or by rushing the opponent down when they start trying to draw cards with trading post. i Made it 3p since 3p FD doesn't have a strong lategame win condition and this would broken in other purities.

If Grimmish dies in combat, you lose the game. If Grimmish leaves the game, you take 10 morale damage. Grimmish can not change controller.


Grimmish is now more playable, but as his loss condition is now much more restricted, I added some morale cost and health decrease to keep it balanced.

Preemptive : You can give Aberion one of the following effects each turn during that turn:
Aberion may not take more than 3 damage from any source of damage and gains an attack this turn each time he takes damage
Aberion is invincible in the assault zone until your next assault phase
Aberion can not be blocked or removed from play this turn

Note the next assault phase is the turn after EG turn 9 you use it turn 10 it is removed lets him keep some gimmicks like negative max HP

Yo that things friggin broken as hell. It has flying charge unstoppable 15/15 for just 7 cost. Wp has a 7 cost 18/18 but it just lets your opponent kill it. The charge is ridic.

When Silfurstar, the Fallen Crusader dies to another character, he revives to your support zone transformed as The Fallen One, kills the character that killed him, and gains abilities based on the Faction purity of the character that killed him.

Flame Dawn: "Takes 2 less damage from all sources"
DoD: "When this character deals damage to characters in the defense zone, he deal an additional 6 damage"
Warpath: Bloodthirst 4
OoS: Flying
Verore: Untouchable, Shield 1
Gi: "When this character deals combat damage to another character, all characters with the same subtype take 3 damage"
Sleepers: "Whenever this character kills another character, that character is removed from the game"
Exiles: "Demons gain -2/-2"

Silfurstar can gain multiple abilities if the character that killed him had multiple purities (hybrid, multifaction). Gains no abilities if a neutral purity character killed him.

The Verore counter seems op until you realize you can kill him in so many ways as verore without characters making him not trigger.

Hunted dragon is a 20/20 and well charge is good FD has that covered DOSF at least had a unique spot in FD as a big boss monster that they could give charge to and deal a quarter of your HP unexpectedly. This just turn it into just one more meh flyer

Oh right its 20/20. Current dragon of summer flame has no place in the meta. This dragon is a turn 7, 15 face damage or wipe Defense zone card. Its damm powerful. Though yeah you are right fd doesnt really need more bullpuffy late game evasion damage cards.

If Ao Shun would die it instead exhausts and returns to its original health and power.


Notes / The idea was to have him close out the game after you've stalled and established your defenses.

All of your opponent's deployed Characters are moved to the Defense Zone and all of your deployed Characters are moved to the Assault Zone and attack an additional time this turn.
The first time a character you control would die to combat damage this turn instead it survives on 1 health and gets +2/+0.




Shameless ripoff of hidings bloodbath edit 'to the last drop' cus pretty much everything else I could think of atm has been covered, basically just makes sure all your characters will attack a second time if they aren't killed by abilities and gives them a small buff if they take lethal damage.

When you deploy Nysrugh, he kills each Character adjacent to him. Nysrugh gains the power and health of each killed Character.

Whenever Nysrugh kills a character, he gains 1 additional life.
At the start of each turn when Nysrugh is deployed, choose a character you own. At the end of turn, Nysrugh kills that character. If he can't, he gains -10/-10.

Comment: So, added consume and unstoppable, added life gain to give him some survivability and made him really hungry. If he skips a meal he gets weaker. 

EDIT: Just realized why Hiding mentioned unstoppable being problematic, forgot he would get lives from killed enemies too. So I agree now and removed it. You can still splash in wp or gi if you want him to be unstoppable.

Gotta appreciate effort for picking Ultra-Unit, but this card in unfixable without reworking of mega units first, which is not possible for CDC format (and even then it could be better to make Ultra-Unit independent from mega units)  :-\
You may want to change your entry if you care about being rated high, I think it's only fair to say it.

Fair enough, i think it could be enough to make ultra-unit usable for casual games but of course not for meta. Hm. Thanks for the fair warning, if i have another idea i'll choose another card then.

EDIT: Alright, new entry is up. Chose arguably the worst epic in the game this time, at least it could only become better ;).
