Name: Forum of Black Arts
Faction/Purity: 1 Cult of Verore
The cost of Forum of Black Arts in your hand is reduced by 1 each turn.
While Forum of Black Arts is in play, you gain the following effects:
-If you have two or more Cult of Verore purity in your deck, all Ability cards and Character abilities cost one less resource.
-If you have two or more Sleepers of Avarrach purity in your deck, your opponent's cards are shuffled into your deck instead of being sent to their graveyard.
-If you have two or more Genesis Industries purity in your deck, all deployed Characters gain Shield 1 and +5/+5.
Flavor Text: "A witch, a zombie and a robot walk into a bar... I've never seen Candit, Hehkeem and Orion this sour at a joke."
This is a card with an interesting design, but it feels rough around the edges. The cost reduction is new and well thought out, it means the card cant be played before turn 8 (without nobles). The fact that (outside enyah decks) you are never able to activate more than 1 of the card effects in the same deck makes it basicly 3 cards. And the requirement of at least 1CoV makes it so that you require very specific purities to run the SoA and GI effect. It also gently nudges a player towards using the CoV effect.
Now, the CoV effect is interesting since it not only lowers the cost of abilities, but also lowers the cost of character abilities, but i think the location is deployed too late for this to be really useful. If the card could be deployed earlier, this may be quite powerful, but i dont think it has such a huge impact in the higher turns.
The SoA ability is cool, but rng heavy. Depending where the opponents cards are shuffled into the deck, they might even harm you more than they help you. Especially if they play a combo or token heavy deck. It is a good counter to stall decks though, so it could see sideboard use there. I think however it would have synergized better if the cards would go to your graveyard to combo off with cards like wall of the dead and awaken instead.
The GI effect is good. Nothing bad to say about it, +5/+5 is roughly two luccas without artifical restriction and shield 1 for every deployed character is great. Really good with about the right price tag i would say.
All in all i think this was a nicely creative entry lacking some polish.
