Is Stand Alone Client getting no updates anymore?
Having "Your Version is out of date. Please run the launcher to update"...

Well, the launcher always starts at the beginning, but is not refreshing?!

evict does not return the card to the controller's hand, it returns it to the player who casts evict

Basically Evict is acting as a 'steal card from your opponent into your hand'

Same issue, updater doesn't work. Tried tinkering with XML files in game folder without success, there is no way to login with standalone client.

prayer of the dragon does not prevent grimmish from losing the game where it should stop him from doing that
the same may happen with resolve of the dragon

when the opponent has a recurring dead in the graveyard, and you deploy a rancid, then even if you have initiative the opponent can still play the recurring dead

Can't log in, it keeps saying my version is out of date.
i've restarted many time, and there's no update in steam.

Try verifying the local game files.
(right click on game, properties, local files)

Still don't work....
Where is my MASS DEATH !!

- Lilariah alt-art preorder item is no longer bugged in inventory. You can safely open your Lilariah, The Rebel alt-art cards! For players who opened at least one copy while it was bugged and gave nothing - we are working on a way to detect all players that experienced this. We'll get back to you very soon. Worst-case-scenario we'll do manual credits and do a mass call-out to players to fill out a Google Form or something similar. Stay tuned.

If you have not restarted since this message is posted, please do so to acquire these updates to your game client.

Still bugged. Opened my alt art + the title and some other bonuses. They just disappear and glitch the inventory. Haven't received my alt art liliriah despite opening it in the inventory. I have restarted the game, no updates noted. (EDIT: Disregard. Didnt read the whole thing, my bad >.<)

Ok this is definitely puffied up: I tried to update the game in my old PC (still with Win XP) and it worked without any issue (besides the machine having just 1GB of memory to work with)
So pheraps the problem was caused by the previous update? I mean, Win7 machine with all updates -> refuse to update and doesn't allow login; WinXP machine not updated since God knows when -> everything updated perfectly, client works smoothly

as opposed to defiant trickster's text, he can actually go back to the original deck if he is overcharged again ... which beats his purpose

how to recreate easily; use evellee and remove him from the game, opponent plays logrithmatron/evellee to remove from game again and voila he is back in the first deck
- this cannot be intended

Update (I don't know how much relevant to other people) to the stand-alone client issue:

Since I was able to update the client from Windows XP, but trying to do so from Win7 still results in a failure as previously described, I just copied tha whole Lightmare studios\Infinity Wars folder from my old machine to the new one, then launched the game directly from Infinity Wars TCG.exe (bypassing the updater) and, look and behold, it worked.
