Community Research: What would improve the game for you?
« on: October 18, 2016, 04:23:48 PM »
Disclaimer: This post is in no way shape or form connected to Yodo1 or Lightmare and is done completely independently of anyone connected to the development of Infinity Wars. Posting a response here is done purely as a matter of interest to the OP and does not assure anything will come of a post here.

Simple Question - Without going into substantial detail, what would be something that would improve the state of Infinity Wars for you personally? This could be anything from re-balancing, to introducing new cards/factions to additional bells and whistles.

No matter the problem, the solution is always a flying emberstarter.

Reliable leader with experience in gaming industry, who who knows what to do for IW, with enough motivation to enforce needed changes. I feel like there isn't someone like that in LM or he doesn't have enough (qualified) employees - or both.
In such situation it would be proper thing to listen great community we have, what normally should be CM task (to collect good ideas and pass those to devs).

What annoys me:
1) All things take so much time, like introducing daily missions and balance team.
2) Seems like there isn't a decent plan (if any) for this game.
3) Lack of communication, with extreme example such as nopeCM.

Proof that the studio still has clear vision of what they want to do with this game, and they have the resources to do that. Which means someone from Yodomare should step in and say what they actually do, what they are planning to do, and what I, as a player, can expect from their actions not in a "bright distant future", but after a week, after a month, after 3 months of their work.

It was like that back when Yodo just appeared on the horizon and Crestmoor made few posts about their plans how to help IW. Since then it's getting worse and worse again.

To be clear - this won't make the game better immediately. This will show that someone is still exist behind the development process, and they have intentions to make the game better, and a plan how to achieve that. At this point I couldn't ask more than that. Naming of any specific "improvements" is pointless if I don't believe that someone there has any intention to listen to them and take them into consideration.

1. Update Plan for the following 12 months (always up to date, always 12 months in advance)
2. No DrewUniverse (dont want to be part of such cyber-bullying drama, but even with tons of negative feedback there is no improvement in his activity)
3. Forging Tool - i want to get rid of more than 100.000 unsoulbound Cards! Surprise and entertain me, without leeching free ideas from the community! Do something by your own that blows my mind!
4. Do something against smurfs in Rift/Ranked!
5. Events! Im not talking about tournaments - im talking about ingame content like Golden Ticket, based on Ultimate Epic Quests which are solveable in 1 week and take time. Cool stuff, like providing some Exclusive-Alt arts randomly while playing a match... again, surprise and entertain me!
6. Be everything but not yourself!

So to be fair, i pretty much quitted to this point and bringing me back into the game, is maybe not even possible as things stand right now or worked out in the last 12-18 months. I totaly dont care about those strange Rebellion Waves and i wont care about the Pre-Order. 1.200 IP on my account, and i wont spend money on any packs. So there will be a gap, and closing that is something i cant imagine to put energy into it.

1. weekly posts every week
2.more lore as there is defenilitely room for it or a least to be explained and campaign to cover at least 70%~ of it
3.Draft is actually starting to get repetitive so i dont know what i would like there but i guess i should say that.
4.more interactions in the campaign(or dialouges as they are called)
5.Weekly decks improvement as some of them are pre-erfs and etc.
6.more than 5 missions in campaign
7.did i mention more campaign yet?  ;D
