Spellbreaker- When this character enters combat with another character, remove all buffs and debuffs from the opposing character for the duration of combat.

Mercenary X- If you have X or more unused resources at the end of your turn and this card is in your deck, recruit it. You can only recruit 1 mercanary per turn this way.

I never liked the shield mechanic. Just putting that out there

Barrier X
- If this character were to take damage instead deduct that damage from the Barrier amount. If the Barrier amount is less than or equal to 0, remove it from this card.

So if a 4/2 with Barrier 1 were to take 10 damage, it would survive with 4/2 but the barrier would be removed.

A card can have multiple barriers, the first one placed will have its effect first. Adding barriers does not increase X.
So: 4/2 with Barrier 1.
-Add Barrier 2.
-It becomes 4/2 with Barrier 1, Barrier 2 [NOT Barrier 3]
-Takes 10 damage
-Becomes 4/2 with Barrier 2
-Takes 1 damage
-Becomes 4/2 with Barrier 1
-Takes 10 damage
-Becomes 4/2


Fodder Slime
Neutral
5 cost
5 morale
Character- Slime

pay 4, Fodder Slime gets -1/-1 and gains Barrier 1.

10/10

Just trying to make descriptions more concise

Maelstrom X- does X effect to all other characters in the same zone as it and across on the battlefield.

Example:
Boomy- when boomy dies, Maelstrom 6 damage.

Could also Maelstrom things other than damage like debuff (Maelstrom Poison 3) or buff or apply other effects (Maelstrom Heal 5)

Shirazius- at the beginning of each turn Maelstrom 3 damage

The way I understand it, Shirazius wouldn't have Maelstrom since he only damages the characters in his own zone, and not those across the battlefield.

The way I understand it, Shirazius wouldn't have Maelstrom since he only damages the characters in his own zone, and not those across the battlefield.

 I thought he did damage those across for some reason. I thought that was part of his original purpose ah well.

Guard- Whenever an opposing character attacks, that character enters combat with the leftmost character you control with Guard on the battlefield.

So basically a character with Guard, as long as it is on the battlefield will always act as if it were at front of the defense zone when your opponent attacks... even if it is in the attack zone and attacking.
