So this is where, on a whim, I have decided to post descriptions of cards based on a game I am working on and how they would be in the game Infinity wars (oddly  enough the game I have been working on is called endless wars :P )  anyway all the characters on here are not suggestions to be put in the game just something I am doing for fun.  But first a little about my world.


The realm is Called Orbian due to the fact that all life (or at least most of it) was built around The Great Orb.  Orbian is also a very unstable realm trying to find away to stabilize itselt (this is due to the fact that im on my 4th attempt on making a balanced game play for it )  The Great Orb was a powerful object that collected, distributed and controlled the chaotic power that was known as magic.  Life around the orb was peaceful, but the further away from it you got the more dangerous things became.  Thus Heros were aplenty.  they would travel away from Orb City in search of glory, adventure and riches.  But not all loved the orb.  There were some who dispised its influence and saught to destroy it.  Many devoted themselves to the protection of the orb but eventually the dark forces over took them and the orb was destroyed.  This cauased the whole realm to destabilize and everything was wiped out.... except with a lone building where when the cause subsided they emerged to find there land basically resset to its beginings.  Life began anew but without the orb it was more difficult.  At that time is when a new people came.  They came from the far east where the original orbs influence had benn basically non exisitant and survived in a similar manner.  those from what where known as The Wilds were more attuned to the natural chaotic nature of the realm and began teaching the others how to survive.

So first card is one based off of a card in Infinity wars, because with a new realm we must have a new Aleta!!!!

CARD NAME: The Great Orb

CARD APPERANCE AND ANIMATION: The Great Orb is in the center of the card.  It is a large purple orb that draws energy from the surrounding area and disperses into the ground beneth it.  It is surrounded by a fortress patrolled by the Knights of the Orber.

CARD RESOURCE COST/MORAL COST: 3

CARD PURITY: 2 Orbian

CARD FLAVR TEXT: The Great Orb provides power and peace for all, but should it fall.....

CARD POWER/HEALTH: Artifact

CARD BUFFS: None

CARD ABILITIES: Each turn your maximum reasources are increased by 1.  If The Great Orb is destroyed it is removed from the game.  At the start of your turn if you Maximum resources is 15 or great destroy The Great Orb.  When The Great Orb is destroyed all Characters and cards in both players hands are removed from the game and both players Maximum Resources are reduced to 1.  Both players then draw 3 cards.

INDEF DESCRIPTION OF CARD ABILITES: So some of you are probably thinking WTF.  Well The Great Orb was a powerful artifact that helped all under its influence so it gives you an early game advantage.  however because of its ability that increases resources one can quickly come to the point in the Orbian time line in which dark forces finally destroyed the Orb causeing the realm reset.  Drawing 3 cards represents the few that survived the wipe and attempted to begin anew

CARD APPERANCE AND ANIMATION: The card cycles through a beast like creature a humanoid creature and a spiritual creature.

CARD RESOURCE COST/MORAL COST: 3

CARD PURITY 1 Orbian

CARD FLAVR TEXT: Minions they come in 3 styles

CARD POWER/HEALTH  Beast Minion: 6/4, Human Minion 5/5, Spirit Minion 0/8

CARD BUFFS: None it is an ability card

CARD ABILITIES: Unlimited Ability, Select one character to deploy: Beast Minion, Human Minion, Spirit Minion

INDEF DESCRIPTION OF CARD ABILITES: Every Hero has Minions, thus Minions are the most common thing found in Orbian.  They come in 3 different types (though in the game they are customizable by the player far more then what this ability does).  Beast Minions hit harder and come with the ability Unstoppable.  Human Minions are intillegent enough to equip themselves by paying 1 and exaughsting to gain +2/2  Spirit minions are incorpral beings so they can not give damage but also can not receive damage (through combat)  however after battling they retreat to the support zone and cause the other combatee to do the same they also have flying.  All have a moral cost of 4 and if they some how get added to the hand cost 2 reasources.


CARD NAME: Hero

CARD APPERANCE AND ANIMATION: The card shows a man in battle worn armor surrounded by goblins that the jump at him.  Next scene is him walking away from a pile of defeated goblins

CARD NAME: Avatar Of Gluttony, Taotie

CARD APPERANCE AND ANIMATION: A creautre that walks on 3 legs. However it doesn't seem to have a body. More like a large head on legs. It had horns and fangs But the most striking feature of the face is undoubtedly its staring eyes that never blinked.  Its animation is it striking out with its tonge to grab a nearby creature and pull it into its mouth which is then dropped out as bones from the hole in the bottom of its jar like body

CARD FLAVR TEXT: Hard to fill a jar with a hole in the bottom

CARD ABILITIES: A Character that enters combat with this card and is not defeated retreats to the support zone and loses 2/0

INDEF DESCRIPTION OF CARD ABILITES:  Taotie is a powerful demon and this is the form that a mere fraction of his power takes.  Its body is literally a jar with his face on it.  Those that survive his initial attack are severely weakened by the sand paper like "throat" and the jagged edges of the hole of his jar that they are deposited thorugh.  His jar like body is able to repel most magical attacks but it doesn't last forever.


CARD NAME: Embodiment of Gluttony, Taotie

CARD APPERANCE AND ANIMATION: The head is that of the Avatar just more fleshy.  He is a huge grotesque being that would be about as tall as the War Path Giants.  His animation is that of him ripping a piece of a fort off and devouring it, soldiers building and all.

CARD RESOURCE COST/MORAL COST 8/12

CARD PURITY: 3 Exile

CARD FLAVR TEXT: His desire for power is only beaten by his desire to fill his bottomless stomach.

Character types: Unique Giant Demon

CARD POWER/HEALTH: 15 12

CARD BUFFS: Consume 3, Unstoppable, Champion

CARD ABILITIES: At the start of your turn Embodiment of Gluttony, Taotie kills any character next to him.  If Embodiment of Gluttony, Taotie would die he instead becomes exhausted

INDEF DESCRIPTION OF CARD ABILITES: Taotie is a demon with an endless stomach and he has no problem with devouring those who are suppose to be his allies.  Once he starts eating he won't stop so watch out.


(Ok I have a lot more that I want to put up but I have a 14 hour work day... at least.... tomorrow so that's all I am going to do for now.  For future refrence when I do post new cards there will always be 2 cards per post  peace out for now and hope you enjoy the cards I make on here)

Interesting that you decided to add cards to the exiles when you were originally making them for your faction. Is this for stuff that your hero(es) would likely fight?
Just so you guys know, if you're ever vs WWK, just start putting out random numbers and mathematical symbols, he will surrender.

Orbian faction is the new faction that most of my cards will go to however cards such as Taotie which are clearly demonic beings in my opinion would be more fitted to being placed in the aleardy existing factions.  An example is an ability that I will be putting on here it will have a purity of 2 orbian OR 1 Sleeper and 1 Verora due to the nature of the card.  The cards I am making on here are merely based off the charcters in the game and how I believe they would best intereact with this one.

Edit: Might as well put up 2 more cards since I am on before going to sleeps.

Edit 2: Also as a note Taotie is indeeded a boss that is fought in the game and at a certain point Zhu Què is support character that helps fight Taotie

CARD APPERANCE AND ANIMATION: Dark Mage exhaling a green cloud over a group of people causing them to begin falling one after another.

CARD RESOURCE COST/MORAL COST : 5

CARD PURITY:  2 Orbian or 1 Verora and 1 sleeper

CARD FLAVR TEXT:  None

Character types: Ability

CARD POWER/HEALTH: None it is an ability

CARD BUFFS: None

CARD ABILITIES: Target Character and any characters adjacent to it become poisoned taking 3 damage at the end of each turn.  Charcters with power of 10 or higher only take 1 damage

INDEF DESCRIPTION OF CARD ABILITES  Plague breath is an early on Dark spell accessible in the game that allows a player to poison an enemy or group of enemies if present.  However being an low leveled spell it is easily resisted by stronger charcters.


CARD NAME: Guardian of Fire, Zhu Què

CARD APPERANCE AND ANIMATION: A large vermilion colored phoenix. Zhu Què is flying around Embodiment of Gluttony Taotie and spewing flames at him from his beak.

CARD RESOURCE COST/MORAL COST: 7

CARD PURITY: 3 Orbian

CARD FLAVR TEXT: None

CHARACTER TYPES : Unique Spirit Beast

CARD POWER/HEALTH 15/15

CARD BUFFS: Flying

CARD ABILITIES: Zhu Què can not attack or block.  Pay 3 Zhu Què enters combat with target deployed character your opponent controls. If Zhu Què is in the grave for 3 consecutive turns he is revived into your support zone.

INDEF DESCRIPTION OF CARD ABILITES:  Zhu Què is the opposite of Taotie in my game.  Where Taotie is a glutton Zhu Què is very picky and will only do as he wants hence him entering combat with only desired targets.  Being a phoenix self revival is a given.

CARD APPERANCE AND ANIMATION : Qióngqí at first appears to be a humble shrine maiden like those in the DOD faction.  Her image then wavers into a shrivled hag with clawed hands.

CARD RESOURCE COST/MORAL COST : 7/10

CARD PURITY : 2 exile

CARD FLAVR TEXT : Deception is her power, lies are her weapon

CHARACTER TYPES : Unique Demon Spirit.

CARD POWER/HEALTH :  4/8

CARD BUFFS: None

CARD ABILITIES : When Avatar of Deviousness, Qióngqí enters the deployed zone she creates 2 1/1 Illusions. If Avatar of Deviousness, Qióngqí would be affected by and ability it has a random chance to be redirected to an Illusion instead.  Each time an Illusion is affected by an ability Avatar of Deviousness, Qióngqí  gains +3/3.  Pay 3 and exhaust.  Qióngqí creates a 1/1 Illusion in your support zone.

INDEF DESCRIPTION OF CARD ABILITES : Like Taotie, Qióngqí is a demonic being who you encounter and fight.  She is a liar and trickster and every time she deceives you she gets stronger.  Although she is physically weak she uses Illusions of her self to hide her presence and attack with magic.  With her ability she can redirect any ability away from her including AOE such as yunshi wrath (but not calamity or the great orb which are basically realm resets).  The more Illusions there are the higher the chaces are that she will redirect.  However this also inludes abilities that you might try and use on her such as mark of the demon which would in turn get redirected to the 1/1 Illusion which would be a Spirit thus killing it.

CARD NAME : Embodiment of Deviousness, Qióngqí

CARD APPERANCE AND ANIMATION : Her apparence is exactly the same as her true self mentioned above.  The animation would be of her sitting between 2 fighters of the same faction point of view would change between the two fighters each seeing the other as Qióngqí

CARD RESOURCE COST/MORAL COST : 9/15

CARD PURITY : 3 Exile

CARD FLAVR TEXT : Trust not what you see for that is her playground.

CHARACTER TYPES : Unique Demon

CARD POWER/HEALTH : 3/ 15

CARD BUFFS: Champion

CARD ABILITIES : Pay 4, exhaust  Target character on your opponents battlefield enters combat with another deployed character your opponent controls.  If  Embodiment of Deviousness, Qióngqí would die she instead retreats to the support zone and becomes exhausted next turn.

INDEF DESCRIPTION OF CARD ABILITES :  When Qióngqí is with you in person you can never trust what you see, hear, feel or even think.  She uses her demonic powers to make you believe that your worst enemy, is next to you while in fact it is truly your greatest ally.... or is it?

CARD APPERANCE AND ANIMATION :He wears black robes that cover his body.  Under the hood of the robes is the slight visual of a skeletal face with glowing red eyes.  His animation is him pulling out a piece of paper and pen.

INDEF DESCRIPTION OF CARD ABILITES :  This is one of my favorite characters and you will be seeing quite a lot of him.  Gigonoth was once a human who studied dark magic.  But his greatest weapon was how charismatic he was.  He eventually discovered a way to basically become immortal.  Now he spends his days accumulating power and debts in the form of his contracts.  They will always seem like a good deal but in the end Gigonoth is the only one who gains anything.  Truthfully I have not quite worked out exactly what his abilities are going to be but as an example his abilities will be things that at first Buff your opponent but later in the game when Gigonoth "collects" you are worse off.

CARD ABILITIES : At the beginning of each turn Xan, Fallen God gains +2/0.  If Xan, Fallen God would die while on the battle field he instead gets -5/0.  If Xan, Fallen God has 30 or more power he evolves

INDEF DESCRIPTION OF CARD ABILITES : Xan is the character I played as in the first running of the game and in the latest version will appear as an influential character in quests.  He has traveled to many worlds and is the patron god to The Infernal Empire, which happens to run itself a lot like the Knights of Flame Dawn.  His powers were depleted and scatter when he was caught off guard by his brother Exodus and so he now travels to reclaim it and get his revenge.  When He evolves He will become Xan, Divinity Restored become Indestructable, Unstoppable and be a 50/50.  Only problem is acutally getting him to that 30 power mark.

This one I believe Terminus will enjoy quite alot

CARD NAME : Vanir, Lord of Cheese

CARD APPERANCE AND ANIMATION :  Vanir is an older man with a long grey beard.  He wears dirty clothes and always has some cheese with him.  His animation would be of him levitating a block of cheese and morphing it into varies shapes.

CARD PURITY : 1 Orbian

CARD FLAVR TEXT :  His people laughed at him till Xan came and he became his first follower.

CARD ABILITIES : Pay 3 Vanir, Lord of cheese adds an ability card to your hand called The Power of Cheese.

INDEF DESCRIPTION OF CARD ABILITES : Vanir lived on a world dedicated to cheese.  He was an old man who was mocked as being a crazy fool.  When Xan arrived and began to devastate his world Vanir believed he found his true purpose in life and pledged himself to the god.  The ability The power of Cheese costs 2 resources.  When you play The power of cheese  you are given 3 options.  Target Character gains +1/1.  Target Character gains +2/0 or Target Charcter gains +0/2.  Never underestimate the power of cheese.

...Not to knock your ideas, but with Vanir, you're essentially paying 5 resources for a 2/0, 1/1, or 0/2. That seems extremely weak/inefficient, especially since Aleta, Caretake can do a 0/+4 (so long as it's not artificial) for 1 resource. Just a thought.

I understand that you're creating abilities (though could combo with Verore Siphoner and Aether Acolyte, but even then it's hardly worth it unless you are nearing the extent of your deck).

CARD ABILITIES :  When Vanir, Emissary of Xan is deployed he creates a mission called Path of the Devoted.  As long as Vanir, Emissary of Xan is on the battle field he adds 5% to Path of the Devted at te end of each turn.

INDEF DESCRIPTION OF CARD ABILITES :  Vanir became a devot follower of Xan after the destruction of his world.  He recived power that was given to all the followers of Xan and somehow due to the mixing with his own power made him immortal (go figure probably has something to do with all the preservatives in that cheese)  When Vanir entered a new world he would attempt to convert them.  The Path of the Devoted mission gets 3% complete at the end of each turn. When completed all Characters your opponent controls and in their hand have a 50% chance of being recruitd to your field or removed from the game.

I understand your concerns and I though about that too because originally I was going to make the ability cost 3.  But one thing I believe is that not all cards have to be "worth" it.  Some are there because they are nice or for story reasons.  Vanir, Lord of Cheese is where Vanir had his beginings.  An old man at the bottom of his world.  But after encountering Xan his power and worth begins to increase exponentially.

CARD FLAVR TEXT : Upon entering Orbian Xan found that much of his power exisited in a dormant state there.  Vanir was stationed in a postion where he could gather as much intel as possible. (text change) He finally got enough wine to go with his cheese

INDEF DESCRIPTION OF CARD ABILITES : And this is where Vanir ends up.  He becomes the owner of The Guilded Noob Tavern where he serves his patrons while gathering intel for those loyal to Xan even after his fall from god hood.  Strangely enough even though Vanir is the founder of TGN everyone says that it existed even before the Great Orb did...

CARD APPERANCE AND ANIMATION :  It appears to be a simple tavern.  Occasionally monsters will attack it, furniture will fly out of it.  Doors from other realms will open in and around it and yet through it all it remains intact.

CARD PURITY : 2 Orbian

CARD FLAVR TEXT :  A building said to be as old as the realm itself, anything can happen at it.

CARD BUFFS: Indestructable

CARD ABILITIES : Pay 3 TGN activates one of its abilities randomly.

INDEF DESCRIPTION OF CARD ABILITES :  TGN.  Good times, good times.  It was home to some of the best/crazest role playing ever.  Within its doors is a room bigger on the inside then it is on the outside.  Its doors can lead to almost anywhere and this is also the place where Aleta fund her employment.  TGN has several abilities that can be triggered when you pay its cost, though only 1 at a time.  Those abilities are as followed:

Create a 4/4 human Bartender with enrage, Pay 4 to enrage Bartender becomes a beast and gains +6/6 (he is a werewolf)

All Characters you control Gain +1/1

All Characters you control lose -2/2

Create 4 3/3 Human Unruly Customers in your opponents assult zone.  Unruly customers are  and bound to assult zone.

One random character you opponent controls gains +5/5

Create a 2/8 Human Waitress in your support zone with the ability: Exhaust target character is healed 5 damage. Waitress is exhausted during your next turn

All deployed Characters are removed from the game for up to 4 turns.  (Think of it like each one has been hit by brief vist to torment.  Each individual character has a 1/4 chance of being returned to the field each turn)

CARD APPERANCE AND ANIMATION : Nailhogs are about the size of a large house cat and have the same appearance as a hedgehog except the spines on its body are much larger, metallic and sharper.

CARD APPERANCE AND ANIMATION : A nailhog with rusty spines.  It is nibbling on the shoulder of a defense golem and the rust is spreading from the point it is sitting on

CARD FLAVR TEXT : An older nailhog that feeds mostly on rust.

INDEF DESCRIPTION OF CARD ABILITES :  Rusty nailhogs result in long lived nailhogs and nailhogs that have fed on rust for long periods of time. While they will still eat regular metals and ores they prefer rust and have developed  the ability to rust things they come in contact with.
