Lousy background I made.
« on: August 15, 2014, 08:20:43 PM »
Let's try to get some life into here too? Hope you all haven't used both of the lifes on Resolute Knight here yet.  ;) (Sorry for that)

I made this background to get a bit more used to Photoshop again as I haven't used it in a while, criticism welcome!

The derpy bar at the bottom is covered by the Windows taskbar when it is set as your background.
Anything for me to improve or change? Feel free to tell!  :)

Looks great, but I notice a distinct lack of Sleepers :P

Excellent work, though!

Looks awesome man great job. Going to nitpick a few things cause I'm a photographer with a lot of photoshop experience, It's basically what I do when I see any picture.

The bottom part looks a little rough i would crop that off. It looks like you know how to blend layers pretty well but in the middle you can see the edge of the layers, there are a couple ways to fix that to make the blending more natural, if you don't know how I can tell you when I get home.

The top right corner looks cluttered I would just use hinekri and take out the demon of fear unless you can blend it better. I didn't even see the demon of fear at first glance.

Edit: sorry if this came out harsh, in art school they teach you to be very critical while critiquing and I would usually end up hurting peoples feelings in class. (People tend to get attatched to something they work hours on). This is honeslty better than most of the stuff that came out of my digital design class.

Shhh... Sleepers are sleeping somewhere. (I'll add them)

Didn't come out harsh at all, I know there are things not done so well in it and I am trying to work on them the best I can. I would also happily have you help me as.  :)

Huge thanks! At the start when I were working on it was only supposed to be Hinekri only, but I liked how I managed to fade the other backgrouns there too.

I like it :) working on my own little project also

Thanks, and I hope you will post it here in the forums!

That's pretty cool!

Thanks, it's nice how people like it.

Going to work it out a bit more and try to blend stuff in a bit more better and I'll post the updated version here as soon as it is ready.

Worked with it for a bit. Added Sleepers icon, worked on the middle a bit and tried to make Demon of Fear a bit more visible.
Still not pleased with the middle though.  :-X
