Can anything target Untouchable?
« on: March 18, 2014, 09:18:53 AM »
I remember reading that Hunt and Eaten by Zombies could target characters with Untouchable, because it says "choose" and not "target".

Is this true? Also, are there any other cards that can do this? (I'm not talking about cards like Mass Death which hit everyone)

Currently only Hunt as it's not worded as a target, but as a selecting of the card, and the target being hidden (which I believe is the specific reason for Hunt only) so your opponent doesn't know what's being hunted. Otherwise, AoE effects are the only things that can affect it.
Just so you guys know, if you're ever vs WWK, just start putting out random numbers and mathematical symbols, he will surrender.

Sacrifice also works. Which means wholesale slaughter will kill untouchable as well.

Looks like we either have a spambot or someone who really doesn't get the title.

Now that we have a card that can have untouchable in the planning phase but lose it by the time of the resolution phase (the Klingon Bird of Prey is untouchable in support/command but not once moved to a combat zone) does anyone think we should be at least allowed to attempt targeting untouchable creatures, with a warning message similar to the one you get for targeting a creature in an invalid zone? Probably wouldn't make too much difference to the Bird of Prey as it already has an ability that can let it move from support to assault after the opponent has played abilities, but it could be useful to open up more options for prediction with future cards.
