I gave up on FD long ago.  I bow and worship to Mistress Aleta now.  Long live the Cult! Vasshak do'k Verore!

So we're coming up with languages now? This thread just got even more interesting.
I say we build a statue to our great dwarf overlord. He will guide us in our quest to diggy diggy hole.

Actually, I think it's one of the developers, which incidentally Tygris is as well, but a different one.
Just so you guys know, if you're ever vs WWK, just start putting out random numbers and mathematical symbols, he will surrender.

Ian Underwood is Tyrgirs.  The guy on deflect, I believe, is a kickstarter backer.

Oh, my mistake. I knew it was someone fairly important. XD

I'd argue that a kickstarter backer who backed enough to get their face on a card is fairly important :P

Id agree (then again, I WOULD... *points to devil of despair*).  But im not exactly sure if that is the case, or if Im just making it up.

I believe the kickstarter reward cards that have backer art on it have two names in the artist credit. While I certainly did not draw the Devil of Despair, I did give the art direction. As such, my name is next to Martins. So that leads me to believe that any card with two names are kickstarter art cards. The exception to this is Core 2013 cards with Jordan Beeston and some other girls name. They were both uni students working at Lightmare as part of work experience. Jordan drew, and the girl animated.

Jordan now animates his own cards, and has done a few more pieces for Lightmare. :) He also does work for the new game, Chromancer (I know this, because I hooked him up with the gig!)

Oh hey, Chromancer. I'm a volunteer moderator for their playtests. That game has some fantastic art. Do you recall what cards he did the art for?

You've been around much longer than I have, and I've been proven to be more prone to hearing/reading things one way, and interpreting them another. It's funny because in some cases, I have really good memory and can recall some really obscure detail that's important but that others missed, while other times I can't even recall obvious things which others notice right away. *shrugs* Bit extreme, but not too far fetched.

IIRC, Flame Dawn and Genesis are actually from the same world (which is why we have Genesis Aleta but no FD Aleta). Would be interesting to know some of the history of that, their interactions, etc.

My current headcanon: FD is a violent crusading reaction to GI's over-the-top integration with machines, which FD followers view as a perversion of humanity.

But then there were robot zombies to deal with. Priorities, right?
