This one is mainly for people to have fun and brainstorm based on their preferences:

Create 2 cards that could be part of the same set/cycle as an already existing card. However make the 2 cards part of a brand new set.

A set is like the faction wish cards (Fiery wish, Dark wish, Undeath wish) or like the Defiant cards that all have remove from game effects or the martyrs that all have sacrifice effects.

Kinda like a previous CDC, this time I want to see the set fleshed out rather than tacked onto another one like the Wishes or Martyrs.

You can use any card however, if say you want to use Fiery Wish you can make a card like Fiery Ambition or Fiery Assault, just no more wishes.

For people that love Aberion, you can make a bunch of Aberion cards to go along with Aberion's Banner, like Aberion's Beard or Aberion's Pants etc.

A sacrifice is the quickest way to start a war

If deployed, whenever a character enters a graveyard, it gains +2/+2 permanently.

--- Card Design Challenge Rules ---
1) The Judge appoints a challenge, it can be anything, making new card, redesigning an old one or whatever you wish.
2) All that wish to participate submit their card design. Each participant may only submit one entry per challenge, you may however edit your post as many times as you wish till the deadline.
3) After an announced deadline the Judge decides a winner. The winner then becomes the Judge for the next round, if the winner does not wish to host the next round a runner-up may do so instead.
4) All entries submitted before the deadline are guaranteed feedback, either in this thread or in another detailed feedback thread.

2nd place: 2 alt art packs and 2 collection penta packs
3rd place: 1 alt art pack and 1 collection penta pack

 - If an unlimited card was overcharged, turn all your Unlimited characters in play into 7/7 Infectious Zombies with Infect.
 - If a non-unlimited card was overcharged, all opponent characters become Undead and Poisoned, taking 2 damage each turn.

I chose a mission because you can remove locations by playing other ones over them. Missions, on the other hand, are nearly Untouchable.

It's worth noting that the Militia give each other +1/+1, which can matter if you're running other Militia and could eventually add up.

And while it may not have been successful I have to say that getting you to ask "Why? Why would I add something this useless?" means mission accomplished.
The problem is this card would be a must run just because it has opening. You get to run a 39 card deck and if your play FD with AoE buffs or something like Taiga the 1/1 are not 1/1 anymore just trading with each other. Also in a moral deck you would love this thing chain lighting Lingbo and profit.

When you deploy Infected Phasebot, you have to overcharge it with a character card once.
If that character is an undead with cost 2 or less, create a copy of that undead in your support zone.
If the character is artificial, create a copy of Infected Phasebot in your support zone.
(If the character is both, you may choose which effect triggers. But you will not get both effects.)

If Infected Phasebot is removed from play, take it to your hand instead.

Character - Elemental Spirit

Flamestrike 4

When you play Flame Spirit you must overcharge it once.
If you overcharged a Location Flame Spirit becomes a Mission with the text "Whenever a Character attacks your fortress gain 10% completion and Immolate the Character for 3 damage per turn. When completed the Immolation level of all enemy Characters is doubled."
When Flame Spirit attacks a Character any Characters adjacent to them are also Immolated.

Basically you can sacrifice a location to boost your locations defense or you can just put it out as a character and do more offense.
The completion effect of the mission doesn't care about immolation source so you can use other flame strike cards to maximize its potential, like playing 2 of these at once with one as a mission and one as a character.
Didn't really want to do the whole 'paired' thing because of how much text there ends up being, but it should still be basically the same.

As an additional cost to casting this, overcharge a Character card.
Create a Pain Hound in your support zone. It gains +X+X where X is the amount of characters in play not at full health. Remove all card text from this half of the card.

You may cast this from the graveyard if you have no non-skeleton characters deployed.


Matter of Death

As an additional cost to casting this, overcharge an Ability card.

Deal 2 damage to all characters. Until end of turn, target character you control moves to the assault zone and gains +X/+2X and unstoppable where X is the number of characters that have died this turn. Remove all card text from this half of the card.

You may play this card from the graveyard if you have no non-skeleton characters deployed.


This is a card where you can play both halves of it (as long as you only have skeletons deployed). However choosing which one to play first is supposed to be tricky. There are benefits to either, having a consume skeleton down, then giving it unstoppable while buffing its stats could potentially make it very strong. On the other hand, you can do a lot of damage first while making something else unstoppable then play that skeleton afterwards so that it gains more starting stats from damaged characters in play.
