Corrupted Wyvern

Character - Demon Dragon
Epic
Cost 6
Morale 10
Stats: 7/7

Consume 4, Disturbing Presence 2
If Corrupted Wyvern's health is 13 or more it has Flying, at 20 or more it has Unstoppable.
Exhaust, Sacrifice a Character: Corrupted Wyvern gains +4/+4 and heals 4 damage.
At the end of each turn if Corrupted Wyvern is not exhausted and has not entered combat this turn it enters combat with a random Character you control.

"Originally they were a smaller, inferior species of dragon, but thanks to demonic corruption they've become strong, fearsome, bloodthirsty monsters."

Basically its a winged reptile that starts relatively small but can get big and strong if you keep it fed, you can't stack the manual sacrifice consume with the regular combat consume but it can still get quite strong if you handle it well.

Kinda designed after hunted dragon in that its a cheaper dragon but with a drawback and demon of gluttony/nysrugh in that you have to feed it to really make use of it, though unlike them you can just let it feed on the enemy.

If you're going to use it in command you'll need characters to sacrifice to not have it go out of control and hurt itself or key units, also you can exhaust it through other effects to avoid having to sacrifice characters and keep in mind it counts as a warpath card for untapped wilderness & corrupted forest.

Although you don't need to sac characters if its in combat the opponent could always fear/stumble it and then you end up with a problem and obviously if its temp removed from the game the stats will be reset and that could be a pretty big blow.

Dragon of Return
1p CoV, 1p OoS - epic
10 Cost
12 Morale
Character - Dragon
20/20
Flying, Unstoppable

When you deploy Dragon of Return you can target a deployed character and send it to the owners hand. If Dragon of Return is returned to your hand then all characters in all assault zones are returned to the respective owner.

Create a character card that is a Dragon and requires at least 2 different factions in its purity cost.

Resource cost can be pretty much anything, but seeing as its a Dragon I expect the card to be pretty dramatic, but try to keep it balanced.

Flying is not a requirement.

The card itself has to be a dragon, it cannot be a card that turns into a dragon or makes a dragon (like agent coyle or Descension).

It can be a Dragon that turns into something else though if thats what you want.

First, it was a minor complaint from my side. If I would have thought that your card is absolutly unacceptable for the purity you placed it at, I would not have ranked it where i did.

I agree that not every faction needs to only have cards for their primary playstyle, in fact for many factions I wish there was more than one viable style. However, I think that alternative playstyles/cards should not come from other factions primary playstyles, but need to be something with own identity (that might very well synergize with another faction to be splashed in). After all, the factions being distinctly different from each other is what makes this purity system really interesting imho.

If you have another opinion, then that is perfectly fine, but I would actually prefer that the factions core competences would 'bleed' much less into other factions than some of them already did - just take removal spells. I liked it much more when the only good cheap and easy to use hard removal was Verore only and you had to really pay up for neutral cards like assassinate if you wanted hard removal in 3p Wp for example.

I also agree that not every card that is aggressive needs to be FD, but this card is more than just aggressive, comes with 2 typical FD abilities and a new one that seems to be tailormade for FD.  Sure, FD/DoD could use a card like that, but then again, every deck that doesnt aim for a morale victory could. Anyways, long story short, i still think it is a good card and i really like it. Just thought for a double purity card it looked like not a lot of DoD influence went into it.

I feel like purity doesnt always have to reflect the "primary playstyle" of a faction if it makes sense or opens up more options with deckbuilding. The purpose of making my card FD/DoD was to make the faction combo more of a possibility in the current meta. I feel balancing attack and defense to work quite well with this card.

Another thing is just because FD is mainly aggressive doesnt mean everything aggressive only comes from flame dawn. Even lorewise demons should be aggressive as well or maybe beasts. I can also imagine DoD with ninjas and stuff where most trickery comes from exiles or Verore.
