So once again there is no Bug forums so I'm posting it here. (and forwarding it to support) Yes I still play once in a while. :)

I tried logging it, couldn't connect to server, program hung. Tried again, stuck at logging. Restarted computer, tried again, and I got this error in Java :

Restarted, ran as adminstrator etc etc with no progress.

Is this bugged? Once again, not sure so didn't file bug report. I don't seem to gain any experience towards completing it, so I'm figuring that it's just the older quest that for some reason wasn't removed from my profile?

I have...mixed feelings about the game at present. When I first started playing it, I loved it! Now...I don't love it as much. Let me explain in point form. :)

Pros -

1. About 100000% times better than MTG.
2. Pretty good artwork for the most part (although you really really need some variety in artists)
3. Quirky sense of humor.
4. Interesting concept in simultaneous turns, merged deck and other cool concepts.
5. Excellent communication from the Lightmare team generally, letting people know what is going on.

Cons -

1. Bugs. Bugs bugs bugs bugs. Everywhere.
2. Strange design decisions, like making Verore OP (generally) and Exiles weak. And phasing out factions.
3. Isn't that different from your "standard" TCG (which is both good and bad actually)
4. Pretty clumsy interface and other UI/tech stuff that keeps cropping up more often than it should. (login difficulties etc)
5. Terrible matchmaking. I've waited over 20 minutes for a game before.
6. Story and lore is rather cliched and uninteresting (IMHO at least) except for the zombies/angels, which is not too bad.

IW was the first digital TCG I really got into and I still think it has a lot of potential. However, now that I've played more and played other DTCGs I think it has a long way to go. Recently I've picked up War of Omens and I'm sad to say that I'm enjoying it a lot more than IW (at least currently) - it's a lot smoother and refined to my mind, without having any of the cons I've listed above.

I guess time will tell! I think the team has put it in a lot of effort into the game and it shows. I appreciate it, especially the open communication policy. On the other hand, I think the game has a lot of maturing to do to truly be a serious contender.

As the regulars here have probably noted I'm not so active on the forums as I used to be, kind of biding my time to see what changes will be made. I still play my daily games and some Constructed occasionally, so I'm not totally away, but...yeah, seeing what the future will bring basically.

C'mon guys, I know he's strong but not THAT strong...you don't need to remove him from the game completely! :)

Seriously though. He's gone from my deckbuilder and I can't find him no matter what filters I use. Is this intended?

Well if you ask me, I don't think any factions should be rotated out for about 1-2 years at least. I mean, the game's not even out of Beta. Give people time to really experience what everything is like before adjustments.

Why would the Overseers attack the Warpath anyway? I don't think there was much infection present on their world.

LM, you gotta step up your game man. I understand that there are bound to be bugs each patch but not the SAME ones EVERY patch. And it seems Endless Turns are back too. :(

Not sure if this is technically a bug so I'm posting here instead.

I clicked on the "Subscribe to your YT Channel" button in-game and was taken to a website which asked for my username and PW. Put them in, the page just refreshed with no change. What gives? (I'm using Chrome BTW)

Well I think there are serious problems with game balance ATM, this deck is just one example of them. I hope that Lightmare gets to tweaking balance after resolving all the bugs (of which there are many!)

I think Overseers are pretty well balanced actually, in fact, they may be the single most balanced faction in the game. :) I would rather play against them than Verore any day of the week. (Actually I think Verore is a lot more balanced now but that's a topic for another time...)

Anyway, there are lots of counters against the angels :

1. Morale loss. You don't even need to play dedicated morale burn, just play normally and make sure to kill plenty of them. Eventually they will lose to morale loss since they can't regain it outside of Yobo (who isn't an Angel and therefore doesn't often make it into Angel decks)

2. Board sweepers. I shouldn't need to explain this one.

3. Try out other counters. Killing Lilariah on a critical turn (or just sending her to the support row) can cause an entire Angel line to crumble. Consume and Unstoppable are excellent against them as well. As other posters have said, Angels are not very flexible at all. You can generally see them coming 2-3 turns away.

4. Never deal more than 21 damage in a single turn. :)

Not to start the debate on Sacullas again (there are lots of threads about him already) but I still think he is pretty fair. Maybe a change to double purity or 3 damage per 2 characters. Or better yet, make his effect only activate when you play him. That would make him and Lucca a lot fairer.

I think the culprit here is Xi. At 10 toughness she dodges Banish and Snipers, as well as double Yuanshi and Lightning Blast. She's a bit too strong for a 4 drop, considering she also flies and has a good ability.
