Rules Text:
While "Avarrach Has Risen" or "The Virus of Avarrach" is in your graveyard, The Weeping Statue gains Infect and deals 1 damage to every Character in play at the start of each turn. Damage inflicted by this effect is increased by 1 at the end of each turn.
Exhaust, Pay 5: Discard any number of cards from your hand. Gain 5 morale for each card discarded this way.
Exhaust, Pay 6: Discard a card from your deck. Gain Health equal to the discarded card's cost.
Flavor Text:
After the scientists of Genesis Industries had thought the plague from Avarrach had been cured, one of their exploration teams had stumbled across a curious statue from the ruins of a castle. Perpetually leaking some type of cloudy liquid from its eyes, the statue was taken in for further research.


I may have quit IW but I miss playing Sleepers and Verore together.
I still like Virus-based decks. :(

Discard is usually only from hand. Isnt it kinda super easy to get the damage condition?

That would be much better. The combine rules text as presented is a bit ambigious since it doesn't explicitly say where or when exactly the location splits. I thought it would split before it arrives at the graveyard and therefore giving you living characters. Admittedly having them split after makes much more sense and is much more balanced.

Also worth mentioning if destroyed: one card leaves play, but 2 cards enter the graveyard. For possible card triggers and effects

oh for my design if the location dies, it goes to graveyard. but its not one card in the graveyard, it splits back into 2 cards in the graveyard. Same if it goes back to hand, thats why it has no resource cost because you can never play the card directly, you always need to play the 2 components all over again.

The thralls are meant as a bonus but also kind of a negative as it means more things you can lose to hurt yourself. Paying 9 resources to make things on the battlefield -6/-9 is pretty powerful sure but if you miss often enough, the opponent can just ramp up and play something stronger than that and win. At least depending on the opponent. It may still be too powerful though not sure.

Dark Master I should probably make unique. If there ever is a Location combo  (like with Tectonic Elemental) enthusiastic engineer can be powerful as he can keep deploying Fort over and over (destroying the prev one sure but still)

Any characters that are deployed while CARDNAME is in play are removed from the game. Return each character removed in this way to the game in 1-3 turns after it was deployed, except it has double the power and health and becomes a demon.

It's easy to get lost in the Wastes. A day's trip can turn into a month's disappearance. And if you aren't careful, you'll end up someplace no sane traveler ever wants to visit.

In short, everyone takes a brief visit to Torment. A little Chaos, a little mischief, a little stat-buffing, a little stalling, a little ignores-token-generating-cards...

This one is mainly for people to have fun and brainstorm based on their preferences:

Create 2 cards that could be part of the same set/cycle as an already existing card. However make the 2 cards part of a brand new set.

A set is like the faction wish cards (Fiery wish, Dark wish, Undeath wish) or like the Defiant cards that all have remove from game effects or the martyrs that all have sacrifice effects.

Kinda like a previous CDC, this time I want to see the set fleshed out rather than tacked onto another one like the Wishes or Martyrs.

You can use any card however, if say you want to use Fiery Wish you can make a card like Fiery Ambition or Fiery Assault, just no more wishes.

For people that love Aberion, you can make a bunch of Aberion cards to go along with Aberion's Banner, like Aberion's Beard or Aberion's Pants etc.
