Suggestions / Karani/DenialOfMagic interaction
« on: January 18, 2016, 09:12:46 AM »
I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but it seems Karani allows the free use of denial of magic without this counting as a warpath card being played. Given that this can make Warpath even more resource efficient than usual it probably needs reporting.

Deck Building / I got a tad bored.

And, well, this happened.
It's a bit gimmicky but hey.
Well, it's really gimmicky actually but I figured it would be amusing.
On that note, acolytes do stack with each other yes?
Don't worry about the first two command, they're mostly there for the opponent to sink resources into.

Lore / Which character you reckon should ascend next?

Yup, just figured something like this could be fun.

Deck Building / Anyone made an interesting Enyah deck?

I'm quite curious as to how someone would go about one that works nicely, I figured spawner cards might be a good way to go but my range of cards is still a bit limited.
That said, I have managed to have a good laugh with genesis spy and tribble in command, along with a "to boldly go" to ruin the enemy draws after a while. (the only matches I've won with it though were due to the magic of war machine, overwhelming dead and guns of goliath though. Amusement seems to come at the cost of practicality)

General Discussion / Mythology references anyone?
« on: January 18, 2015, 02:10:47 AM »
So I was minding my own business when I noticed that the Hermit looked quite a lot like a certain Norse god. The Odin reference seems pretty intentional and they even both have less than 20/20 vision (also, yes, those are wolves in the second picture)! So I was wondering if there were any more outright mythology references lying around, as it could be fun to know.
