Suggestions / Public/Multiple Accounts...

So, I had a bit of a weird idea sometime ago. Namely, I was thinking about the idea of a sort of public account which anyone could join and Play a few games. A sort of shared account that doesn't belong to a single Person but a Group.

For example, I am part of the Spacebattles Forum. Some of you may have heard of it in passing. Would it be possible to make an account not for myself, but for the Group itself? How public it would be would depend on the specific Group. I could see a sort of super-public Version like the "Twitch Plays Pokemon" Version of Infinity Wars or something similar, just not quite as chaotic. (Also because a literal Twitch Plays Infinity Wars would end in nothing but tears and confusion.) One where anyone can jump in, Play some games, then go out again. A way for People to Play anonymously, or for a Newcomer to get a look into the game without making an account yourself.

Is there a rule saying that the owner of an account has to be a single real Person? I know there are no rule sagainst owning multiple accounts so Long as you don't go playing with yourself or using automated programs to grind IP against the AI or anything, but that is Kind of a different Thing.

If it is not forbidden, how do you think would the System react? What happens if one Person tries to log-in while another Person somewhere else is already logged-in with that account? Does it work, block log-in, do some weird confusing stuff?

Of course even if the technical aspects were to be okay, the Problem would be stuff like IP use and Card trade. With jointly owned accounts with friends or People you know it would be one Thing, though even then there is the risk of a Troll getting in and doing something stupid, but in a totally public account it would be really risky. I guess Lightmare could just block Card trade if they approved of the idea. What about IP use? Make it so it randomly grabs a pack of Cards whenever it reaches 5250 IP?  Auto-Preorder-Buy if it is present or something?

Factionless / Zuza + Intervention?

I am just wondering, does this Combo work? Intervention says a "Card that you control" so it should by the text.

It would only work 3 times and cost extra, but it would free up Zuza and surprise your Opponent. Anyone know if that works? I don't have Zuza, so I cannot test.

Suggestions / Old Weekly Decks

So anyone think that the old weekly decks should be reworked, at least these that were made with cards that have strongly changed?

I think the decks with OS purities were made before the Champion mechanic was even implimented, so I thought I should ask. It doesn't Play bad, just it is noticeable that it was made for a different time.

Karani Ramp is similar, having been made before Noble Nerf. Will they add the Passing Gift Card that gives other Cards the ressource Bonus effect in the future?

Lightmare is likely busy with other stuff, but anyone know if they want to update the decks in the future?

I believe it could be very useful for the future if Infinity Wars had a series of Quests that use various different decks and which you can fight for different smaller rewards. Has anyone played the Nightbanes trading Card game? It is absolutely inferior to Infinity Wars when it comes to the Cards and System. Doesn't allow much strategy since you can only Play one Card after another and it is way too random. Yet the System of Quests that are unlocked one after another in the style of a campaign makes the whole Thing feel much more fun than it should be by all rights.

The Quest System where you fight various pre-prepared decks and win a few interesting Cards every so often makes the whole thing feel much less tedious than the NPC opponents we have in Infinity Wars. It also doesn't look like you are going to run out of NPCs to Play against anytime soon and as difficulty in the NPCs goes up, so do the rewards, or at least it seems so.

I haven't gone far, and I think I will grow tired since I have heard it is very much a Money-grabber game and it lacks a great deal of potential for strategy. Still, it has some interesting aspects.

What do you think of this? And what other things do you think could be added that don't take incredible amounts of work and/or ressources to implement?

Okay, has anyone made her work in an effective deck or anything similar?

I have no clue how to use her since she seems the least useful Champion of all of them. Lilariah gives flying, Harahel mass buffs, Kraos does damage at every hit and removes from game etc...

Even Irial sounds more useful from what I know since you can gather Resolve and Play it in one turn before buffing up all your Tokens with GoG and Lucca Ascended.

General Discussion / Consecrate, Human OS/FD Hybrid

There I was a bit playing against the AI because... well I like playing against the AI when I don't want to concentrate on the game and stuff. It is Kind of Relaxing. Probably wasting too much time, but whatever.

So I was using a Oblivion deck, and it had Unlimited Rifts as fillers and because of surprise potential of the things.

Then I get this.



Look at it! I have no clue what this is supposed to be, but it Looks interesting.

PS: I can Play him like a normal character. The text doesn't seem to do anything.

PPS: The Animation Shows the fireball/light moving around and the strange streams of... sand/energy flowing a bit too. He is wiggling a bit, but nothing else otherwise.

PPPS: It seems to be Oppression Spoiler for a Card that they are working on. Teremus said it is going to be called Pyromaniac.

So, I really think this Card is interesting and I have played around with it a bit. It seems fun and annoying to an Opponent if he suddenly only draws nothing, but just a bit ago I heard in Chat that his Abilities are Oblivion fodder. (Also that a Combo with him + Jetpack is too ressource heavy, though I guess I trade early ressources for later Advantage.)

What do you think of this Card? Have you made it work well yet, have you tried to Combo it with anything specific? Do you think it is worth using or bad. And do you think it is good for the Cards to be Abilities that lower the cost of Oblivion or not?

I personally think it would be good if Oblivion's cost only got lowered by Magic Abilities, that way this interaction could be avoided and it isn't like Verore has any non-Magic Abilities I think.

General Discussion / Wishing Cycle

So since Order is now out, we have 2 More Wish Abilities, making it pretty obvious that Lightmare is making this a Cycle of Wishes for every faction.





... grumble grumble... wiki having different sized Pictures.

So what exactly do People think of the different wishes? How do they compare to each other, how do you use them? I got a set of Heavenly Wishes and haven't tried them yet, (Though I want to make a Triple OS deck now that they have gotten such a big rework.) so tips would of course be good.

Which wish is the best? Do they work as you would have liked them?

And of course, what do you think will the wishes for the other factions be called like? We still Need Wish Cards for DoD, Exiles, Genesis and Warpath

The Exiles / Chalice of Madness + Hungry Abomination

I have discovered that for some reason discarding Cards with the Chalice doesn't effect the power and health of the Abomination. The closest I can think of a reason is that it Looks for discarded Cards at the end of turn, but the chalice makes each Player discard a Card at the start of the turn. This takes away a good deal of the Chalice's use for me since I wanted to use it to feed the Hungry guy easier.

I sent a bug Report through the game's help menu but nothing has happened yet, so I thought I should maybe mention it and ask if anyone else has the Problem or if it is unique to me.

General Discussion / Foundation Pack?

So, many of you likely know of the Foundation Pack, which is supposed to hold Cards important for each faction, at first likely from the 2013 pack and later from generally phased out sets. I was wondering what Cards People think are going to be in the Foundation set, and of course, what do you think should be in the Foundation Set?

We can probably take out all Unlimited Cards of the various factions from this discussion, since it is unlikely for them to not be kept in-game unless they make new Unlimited Cards for the faction in question.

Genesis Industries / Mechanize and Engineer?

Hey, just today I wondered about possible Combos between Cards and then it made me think about how the Order Card Mechanize as seen in Previews would allow you to make any Card for a very low cost into an artificial character. Combined with Engineer this could lead to an almost sure fire way to get Mega Units out and going. If you have 3x Mechanize and Mega Units + Non artificial characters, you could have quite the scary stuff Happening there. Of course you would still have to pay 7 for it to work, but I don't think that is impossible to have work.

I cannot say for sure, is that potential Combo broken or not? I have heard of Subjugated Dragon resurrection turn 3 or so, but this would potentially allow you to get out multiple mega Units quite early if you have a full set of Mechanize.

Suggestions / Clan Creation?

When I was thinking about Infinity Wars, I got the idea that maybe this game could use the concept of Clans for itself. For these of you who don't know, a clan is a organization of Players that work together for various reasons, mostly used in online massive-multiplayer games and similar games where Teamwork is important.

One of the main Advantages I would see in this could be the possibility to discuss inside of a clan when certain things are done. The most important Thing I could see being Rift-Runs, as a Arrangement where everyone knows the pre-decided times for Players would make the whole Thing go more seamlessly.

If in the future Team formats like Two-Headed Giant get introduced, this could also lead to the Chance of People working in Teams and learning each other's playstile easier.

I would also think it could be useful if such a Clan/Guild could have a Chat reserved for that specific Group, where members can ask for games, talk about General stuff or look if someone in the Group has a specific trade.

There would probably be a combined rank for each Guild/Clan coming in some way from the ranks of the Players. This could lead to rivalries between different Player Groups as they try to outrace each other. Maybe there could be a Group reward for any Guild, stuff like everyone together gathering a certain amount of EXP/IP, winning a certain amount of games, or such, similar to the rewards that already exist.

Now of course currently the game really lacks multiplayer/teamwork possibilities, which are one of the main reasons for Clans to get created, though it could be interesting if it could be added at some Point in the future.

Deck Building / Heaven Canceler's Decks (General Decks)

So, since I have been playing this game for around a month now, I thought why not try to get some Feedback on what I have been tinkering with. I hope this Looks at least somewhat interesting to one Person or another.

Deck - Verorian Nature

2 Verore 1 Warpath Purity, has gotten me some nice victories, though some higher control decks give me a hard time and rush can be troublesome. I have managed to win against Overseers, though not as consistently as I would like.

It is somewhat slow, so I have been thinking of switching in a Candit or two and maybe some sacrifice based Cards like Acolyte of the Altar or Summoner of the Deep. Possibly also add a Aether Acolyte or Siphoner. As is now, I am basically using Rita as a worst case guard of the defense since she can basically heal herself with her self-generated thralls.

Main strategy is buffing up Hydra the first 1-2 turns, then continuing with various beasts, killing things as needed, bringing out the Hydra to either eat up stuff or destroy things. Using Winds of War for buffing the Hydra/s and using Kidnapper and Aleta Sorceress for further destruction/control. Subjugated Dragon is the late-game finisher if I haven't defeated the opponent by then.

I may add more decks to this thread in the future, just to see what People think.
