Here is a list of the things that have changed in our 1.2.1 Hotfix patch.

- Surprise Defense is no longer unique. Be prepared to surprise your opponents again and again and again!

- Fixed an issue where if two Splitter Bots died simultaneously it would cause a client desync.

- Thunder Apprentice has been moved to Uncommon (previous Common), for drafting balancing.

- Fixed an issue with Shikana, Who Demands Tribute where she would not exhaust when she didn't sacrifice a character.

- Fixed an issue that wasn't telling out of date clients they were out of date, and letting them log in.

- Fixed an issue where the combat damage Phalanx Commander was redistributing was not considered combat damage, which created an unintended interaction with Noble Protector.

- Fixed an issue where Terror Moose, Rite of Rage, Noble Protector and many others were preventing damage that was flagged as unpreventable.

- Fixed a bug where Azael was giving cards that were not in play Untouchable and Flying.

- Fixed an error where the Login screen would display “Localization Not Loaded” when it could not connect to the server.

- Fixed an issue where Rita, Shadow Priestess’s text incorrectly said she gained +2/+2 when she sacrificed a character (she actually heals 5 damage and the card is unchanged).

- Fixed an issue where text was going outside of bounds of the draft leaderboard.

- Fixed an issue which was allowing non-Ranked legal cards in sideboards in Ranked games.

- Fixed an issue with text not showing correctly when drafting.

Please note that Shikana will be made illegal in all decks until we can sort  her bugs. This may result in you being unable to see Shikanas in your collection, we will have this sorted out asap.

General Game Discussion / Mini Patch - Version 1.1.2

We’ve released a minor patch today that addresses a bug that could be used to strong exploitative effect, as well as set up some Order Preorder assets.

Fixed a bug that allowed players to gain ranked rating from invite best of 3 matches under certain circumstances.
Fixed a bug where conceding during the sideboarding stage of a Ranked game would cause double rating loss.

Welcome to the second part of our ongoing series covering the upcoming changes to The Overseers of Solace faction.

It did not take us very long after starting deliberations to realise that we really didn't want to just nerf them. But given they are so one dimensional, the only way we could adjust them to a power level we were comfortable with was straight up lowing numbers.

As such, we decided we to take this opportunity to give The Overseers a much needed boost to their flavor and variety.  Now, don't get me wrong, we are still paying very close attention to specific cards (Precautionary Measure and Heavens Assistance I'm looking at you), but we felt The Overseers deserved more that simple number adjustments.

In order to achieve this new direction for the Overseers, we have created a new mechanic that will be applied to new and preexisting Overseers cards that really changes up how they play.  We are super excited about this mechanic, as it provides us more dials and levers to calibrate their power in the future.

We will go into the details of the mechanic in a future installment, but for now I’ll leave you with some of The Overseers that will be “championing” our new mechanic:

Irial, Champion of Resolve
Sol, Champion of Vengeance
Lilariah, Champion of Grace
Kraos, Champion of Ruin
Harahel, Champion of Virtue
Serenia, Champion of Life
Aberion, Champion of Force

Good morning everybody!

I am posting this little teaser of sorts to let you all know that we are currently in the process of working out some changes for the overseers. As stated on my appearance in Teremus' stream a couple of weeks ago we are aware of the, some would say oppressive, power of the Overseers as they stand now.

We have watched from afar, waiting until Bo3 and Sideboards were introduced to get the best idea of where the factions true strengths lie and how we can best work to bring the Overseers back into line power-wise without sacrificing the core of what they are.

As myself and lead designer Ian Underwood work towards a solution I will endeavour to keep you all up to date with our progress, to give you all a bit of an insight into what we consider when, lets be frank, nerfing a faction.

One of our Infinity Council members, who serves to assist myself with all thing related to bugs and balance has recently created a great platform for you all to provide feedback and tell us how you would like the Overseers "dealt with." - http://forum.lightmare.com.au/index.php?topic=63281.0

Unending Drone
“At the start of each turn, Unending Drone raises one other Unending Drone to your Support Zone.”

Verore Channeller
“When you play Verore Channeller, choose target Character. While Verore Channeller is on the Battlefield, target Character has +5/+2.”

Cartographer
“When you deploy Cartographer, target Location card in your Deck is placed into your Hand.”

We are constantly reviewing card text, and understand there is still more work to be done. We appreciate your feedback as always and will continue to work towards a more complete, consistent experience.

Here are the issues we were able to sort out asap.

- Defense Golem and Jungle Giant can now properly block flying characters, as they now both have Reach.

- The log in screen has been slightly slowed down.

- Resuming planning will no longer return cards to your hand that were discarded in previous turns.

- Fixed a bug where the chat would slightly protrude the chat box.

- You can no longer log out while requesting or accepting an invite to a game.

- Fixed a bug with evolving parasite that was causing an endless turn in most games involving him.

- On field states are now slightly larger, and don't get as blurry on smaller resolutions when further from the camera.

- Golden Tickets should now give a more detailed message as to how to claim your gold border.

- The issue that was causing people to not be able to claim rift run rewards has been sorted out.


We will be keeping an eye out for anything that comes up, and fixing as we can.

To get the hotfix, please close your client and restart, also make sure Steam has applied the update.

Here are the notes for what we changed in today's hotfix:


- Agent Coyle, Immovable now evolves as intended.

- Agent Coyle Mechborn now evolves as intended.

- Inter-dimensional Phase Bot now works as intended.

- Vasir, the Chained Prince no longer bugs out when attacking into a Ruins of an Ancient Civilization.

- Dehumanize no longer creates the demons in the graveyard.

- The revised Genesis Industries campaign has been reverted until a later date.

Here is a couple of issues we consider important enough to send out a mini patch to resolve asap.

  • Fixed a bug where commanders sacrificed by Nysurgh the Hungry would return to the support zone instead of command.
  • Zom-B-Gone 4000 has been fixed, and no longer causes a null reference exception.
