I am trying to make a viable shrine deck from what cards I have and this is what I have come up with. It's not great, but when it works it works really well.
I use my Chefs, SC and Aleta to keep my tokens alive, artificials to buff my characters for stalling, Jialin and give him a jetpack for flyers and trickster monkey for the annoyance ^_^
I'd like help with ideas to combat rush decks as I have trouble with them most of the time since I have no removal at all. This deck also takes a while to get going since I only have one shrine and 3 other cards to draw it. Sometimes I can stall them long enough to get my bigger guys out which allows me to start spawning my tokens for my shrine.
I couldn't find an appropriate section to post this in the Infinity Wars section so I'm posting it here.
I haven't played IW for a over a year because of schooling, so I've missed out on a lot of updates and news. The game has been released, new expansion packs, upgraded graphics and a TON of new features that are blowing my mind. A lot of the older streamers have also moved on which I find to be sad. I'm having a hard time transferring to the current IW especially since I have extremely outdated cards and have to learn the new ones.
So could anyone update me on what has happened since February last year? I would very much appreciate it. Help understanding the overviews of the new factions and mechanics would also be great.
Edit: To get an idea of when I last played the first few dual faction cards just came out when I was on
I just wanted to post all of the Infestation preview cards here in case anyone missed them.

If I have missed any cards or extra flavour text please do tell me. I only know half of the dates the cards were released or the challenges associated with them so some help would be appreciated where info is missing.
Also if you could PM me with tips if you think there is a better layout I could do to make this post easier to read, right now it is just a wall of text.
On January 2nd Lightmare released the Omni promotional set containing 3 new cards. They are available through the Wrecking Ball challenge (kill 250 enemy characters) where you get 4 of each.
And Raa - WARNING do not use Raa in PvP, causing major de-syncs in-game. Versus bots is fine.
They all have one thing in common, they all have abilities that win the game for you under certain conditions like Ju-Lin. A lot of people are saying they are over powered, but luckily they are only legal in unranked constructed games.
Raa is causing de-syncs in-game, spawning two "Spawn of Raa" instead of one (needs nerf to not include sacrifices like the verore death worshippers), zooming in on "Spawn of Raa" it will pull out the image in a 4x2 tile fashion

What are your thoughts on these new cards, and how do you think they will affect the game?
I personally am of two minds about it. On one side I am glad that Infinity Wars will be growing and more people will be enjoying the game. On the other, I am afraid the in-game chat and forums will be saturated with people that, well. I'm afraid it will decrease the quality of the community somewhat. I really hope I am wrong though.
What are your thoughts on the subject? Looking forward to it, or dreading it?
I saw this card on the updated Infinity Wars website and I'd like to hear your thoughts on it.
Myself and some other users were thinking it would be a Wealthy Noble reskin (We were calling the old one Stock Wealth Noble and the new one Family Wealth Noble). It also looks a lot like a DoD card would but it has an unfactioned border. I really hope it's a new Infestation card as I prefer the current Noble skin.
Later in development I would love to see a borrowing system. One where you could let someone use your card/s for a set period of time and then it is returned to you.
On multiple occasions a new player has had difficulty with a scenario or campaign and I have let them use a specific card to help them out, but I a am always worried that the player will not return my card. Also at times I would like to try out a card before I trade for to see if it will be worth it, as I have had quite a few trades that weren't in my favour because of inexperience.
I think this could help the community bond a bit more with newer players or friends with the ability to help them out or to just be kind.
I would also like to know what the community thinks of this idea
So, there is a new Flame Dawn Footman Skin, what do you think? Which one do you prefer? I personally loved the previous one, although the new one has a better animation. Is there a reason behind changing it or did the devs just prefer this new skin?
