Clearly what happened is that he dyed his hair and started building guns (of Goliath) for the angels.

Flame Dawn / Ferocity wording
« on: February 08, 2015, 11:33:32 PM »
The wording of Ferocity says that the target character "attacks this turn", rather than simply moving into the assault zone.
Does this mean it can get around the "cannot attack" imposed by Veroria, the Lone Keep, or somehow magically make Gao Han attack from the defense zone? Does it prevent Fleeting Footman from running away at the first sign of trouble?

(I know the answer is probably "no", but if this was a paper card game rather than a programmed one, I'm sure there'd be arguments over this.)

Verore overseer alliance I only say jokingly, but you never know I suppose. Verore is hostile to the exiles and enemy of my enemy and all that. It would be pretty weird, though at least it would give verore new direction in the story.
To be fair, Verore does seem like the number 1 faction for generating lots of powerful human emotion. ;) Across the fourth wall, too. Now, if only they'd set aside some of their old mass-murder habits...

Yep, that's the one. I played it to see if it did anything interesting, but it didn't and I lost disastrously.
Ah, well. For science!

I think it works if you just link to the preview image on dA? (The one that shows up on the page of the picture itself, but before you click anything that enlarges it.) I'm not sure about the other images.

Boomy with wings! Boomy (Champion of Fun) can take down Lilariah and all her friends (well, almost all) by himself and leave no trace of them behind for Precautionary Measures.

- Hinekri, Champion of Awww
- Unending Drone, Champion of Why Would You Play Only One of Us What on Earth
- Dropbear, Champion of Everything

I've gotten this Consecration a couple of times myself - and also a completely different card called Consecration with the alt art of Demon of Fear. 10 cost, 1/1.
(I played it anyway, and it unsurprisingly lost me the match. Oh, well.)

I've also gotten an alt art Harahel - I guess all the alt art cards have a chance of appearing?

Factionless / Re: Uncontrolled Rift - Got anything interesting?
« on: January 22, 2015, 11:45:09 AM »
Since the Uncontrolled Rift deck is back, I thought now would be a good time to revive this thread.

I just had a mirror match (merged) where I got Ireul on turn 2. Obviously, I played him right away - goodbye, Nobles!
I also got an alt art Harahel from it on a separate occasion, but he died the turn I evolved Angel Coyle into a dragon. Oh well, it's all fun.

As an extra note, Kali--Hindu goddess (of destruction, time, change, and more). Depicted as having many arms (usually 4), often with different objects held in those arms.
I could swear Kali usually had 6 arms, but then I looked her up and realised I was wrong. Must have somehow mentally averaged her out with Durga. I did think from day 1 that Kali, the Flaming Blade was named after her, though - given her background, she's probably destined to do a lot of making things fall apart.

I'm still wondering why Orion is named after Orion, though.

He's probably there so you can pay a consistent cost (via Heaven's Bell) to hold off most things your opponent tries while you sit there rewriting history or building your shrine or chipping your opponent down with a cannon for the sake of "balance".

Someone should make a deck consisting entirely of Ethereal Fusion and Uncontrolled Rifts (and Recycle and such). It would be hilarious.

(Dropbear the Mad? Candit, Head Moose? Adorable Zombie? Symbiote Hinekri? Gao Han, the Panda? Avatar of the Demon Prince? Trickster Boomy? Force Against the Chef? Martyr the Selfless? Ao Shun, Shadow Mistress? Lilariah, Champion of the Hungry? Distraction Dragon? Aleta, the Elder Ape? Zombie, Ascended? ...Azaroo?)

Would you consider uploading drawings to the IW deviantart page?

It would be nice to get some stuff rolling there again.
It's been years since I last touched dA, and I remember it being such a time drain that I avoid it almost by instinct now. Well, maybe if I have a day or two of free time...

Lore / Re: Completely legit Chinese name readings (DoD)

There is also Mian Monastery.

This is a really interesting Thing. I especially like the Stream Translation of Xi, since many religions have a river involved in the afterlife. It Kind of realy suits her.
Ah, Mian Monastery. I found that quite amusing, since the first thing that came to mind was "noodles".

Chinese mythology is pretty disorganised, but I think I remember something about the spirits of the dead being bathed in the Yellow River, or something like that. It doesn't help that Chinese history consists of lots of people taking over the country and throwing different beliefs around, and it also doesn't help that a lot of it has been eclipsed somewhat by Chinese Buddhism.

Thanks, everyone!

I might draw someone else next, hmm...
Gao Han in a tutu
Orion in a bikini
Hydra in a maid outfit
Candit with less than 100% exposed surface area
...Maybe something a little less far-fetched.
