Title: [CDC] Rig the deck [Closed]
Post by: NatoPotato on January 06, 2018, 06:42:11 AM
Design a card which interacts with the opponents deck.

Current examples in the game are Genesis Spy which adds useless tokens to their deck, USS Enterprise which steals a card from their deck and I guess Martyr of Chaos which swaps your decks and makes all the cards in their deck cost 10.

That said your card doesn't necessarily have to change the opponents deck or its cards at all, for example you could have a character card that has higher stats the smaller your opponents deck is or the higher the number of ability cards in their deck or something.

Card can be whatever type you want and have whatever effect you want as long as it either affects or reacts to the cards in your opponents deck in some way.

Deadline is the 23rd of Jan.

--- Card Design Challenge Rules ---
1) The Judge appoints a challenge, it can be anything, making new card, redesigning an old one or whatever you wish.
2) All that wish to participate submit their card design. Each participant may only submit one entry per challenge, you may however edit your post as many times as you wish till the deadline.
3) After an announced deadline the Judge decides a winner. The winner then becomes the Judge for the next round, if the winner does not wish to host the next round a runner-up may do so instead.
4) All entries submitted before the deadline are guaranteed feedback, either in this thread or in another detailed feedback thread.

PRIZES
1st place: 3 alt art packs and 3 collection penta packs
2nd place: 2 alt art packs and 2 collection penta packs
3rd place: 1 alt art pack and 1 collection penta pack
All participants who submit an entry will receive a collection penta pack

Memory Dredger
1p Verore + 2p OoS
6 cost
10 morale
Character- Angel

Flying

Sacrifice a permanent: put target card from target graveyard on top of target player's deck. If that card were to enter the graveyard, instead remove it from the game. Cannot target one player more than once a turn. This may only be used if Memory Dredger is on the battlefield.

12/9

"Memories can be a prison or provide sweet release"

---
Use to get back cards you want or steal an opponents card. Or use it to spam your opponent with useless cards. Can be used as many times as you want as long as you have enough sacrifices.

Didnt want him to completely screw people so you can target yourself once then your opponent once, but you cannot sacc 3 characters to make your opponent dead draw forever. (Especially with token spam)

"Something is fishy here. I can't believe that anyone would attack a defended fortress all alone, only armed with a sword and a pistol crying 'For the Dawn' at the top of their lungs." "Really? What about that was out of character for them?" - Conversation between two wardens of the wall.

Vermin
1WP
Creature--Beast
Uncommon
1 cost
3 Morale
0/1

If CARDNAME is in your hand or command zone, it plays itself automatically.
Whenever CARDNAME enters the battlefield, shuffle three copies of CARDNAME into both players' decks. Then draw a card.

Regardless of which side you're fighting on, nobody likes vermin. Trouble is, vermin like everybody. At least, everybody's food.

Ladies and gentlemen, I have combined Ixxi the Annoying with Tribbles, made them into a beast, and made it everybody's problem. It cantrips, it drains morale, it annoys everyone, and it eats up your resources little by little. In short, I have designed a pest.

This card has little to no effect, quickly filling the bottom of your opponent's library with cards... until they accidentally shuffle the deck. The cards arent entirely useless though, unlike Misinformation, they are card draw but which quickly bleed out the opponent.. and its not like theyll help much, theyre just going to be drawing more Lurking Doubts.

I just wonder, are there actually cards that reshuffle your library? I mean in a physical card game the 'shuffle cards into your deck' or 'search from your deck' type cards would require you to reshuffle your library, but that is not necessarily true for a digital card game.

Time for fun! has you shuffle in 20 cards. However it is very unlikely that a player ends up reshuffling his/her deck.

The trading post has one. 3 cost

Edited it slightly to have Lurking Doubt shuffle your deck before you draw.
